I've started this blog as part of the Honours Colloquim I'm taking this summer. The theme I've decided to tackle in this blog is the concept of freedom or liberty. What is it truly? What does it cost?
As for the title, it is a line from the first (and probably, my favourite) Billy Joel song I heard, Leningrad.
Interesting comparison and contrast between two worlds; it kind of makes the cold war seem a bit silly and misinformed. I like how they told the story from the point of view of two boys from opposite sides, and how they really could have been each other if circumstances were different. ~ Kristen
